About Us
CollegeAccessMarketing.org was created as part of an ongoing effort to provide advice, support, and resources to college access marketing practitioners so that underserved students can be reached more effectively. The site serves as a vehicle for practitioners to share ideas and resources, learn from one another, and benefit from each other’s work as well as the work of marketing experts in other fields, such as public health.
CollegeAccessMarketing.org is supported and maintained by partner organizations Pathways to College Network and the Southern Regional Education Board’s Go Alliance.
Launched in 2001, Pathways to College Network is an alliance of national organizations and funders committed to advancing college access and success for underserved students, including those who are the first generation in their families to go to college, low-income students, underrepresented minorities, and students with disabilities.
Go Alliance is an interstate cooperative that works to increase college access, awareness, and attendance by sharing best practices and campaign resources. Member states jointly develop or share college marketing materials (such as radio and television advertisements, research, posters, and brochures) as well as ideas about programs that reach students in direct ways. Through research, resource sharing, and consulting support, Go Alliance encourages more students to complete high school and prepare for and be successful in college.
