January 2008.   The U.S. Department of Education announces the College Access Challenge Grants program, a matching grant program to support states’ efforts to help underserved students and parents learn about, prepare for, and finance postsecondary education.

9/2/2005   A $978,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will support the work of SREB's Go Alliance to launch media outreach campaigns that motivate all students to complete school at high levels of achievement

7/13/2005   The Southern Regional Education Board is increasing its effort to help students who want to attend college with an agreement to administer a new Web site created by the Pathways to College Network.
